Boi Lit Bangladeshi Literary Festival

Talkaoke teams up with the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro or World Literature Centre at the Brady centre for this festival- an expose of classical and contemporary Bangladeshi and British Asian culture.

Talkaoke will be between 2pm and 6.30 on Sunday but it is just one of many events which run from 12 to 9pm see Bishwo Shahitto Kendro’s website for the full programme information

It’s a play on words Boi means book in Bangla as well as being the first bit of Boishakh, the first month of the Bangla Calendar
