DESCRIPTION:\nThis month’s Aberfeldy Live! #28 has a special theme and we would love you to join us in person and online for a hybrid Talkaoke: Ukraininan Fundraiser Special in collaboration with By Hand Ukraine and our friend Hackney Tours. By Hand Ukraine aims to fundraise for aid delivered directly to ordinary people in need in Ukraine. They will use the funds to buy necessary items on the Poland-Ukraine border then delivered directly to those that need it this coming winter. One the night The People Speak will auction some of the special upcycled 25th Birthday T-shirts – so join to snap up yours!\n \nThis is the last Talkaoke before Christmas\, so we hope to see you there. \n \n\nDonate to By Hand Ukraine\nBy Hand Ukraine is aiming to raise £2\,000 and your financial contributions will make a huge difference – not matter how small. Please follow this Just Giving link to donate. \n\nHow does Talkaoke work?\n\nTalkaoke is an interactive pop-up talkshow\, where you\, the participants\, set the agenda. Every  month we report live from the streets of Poplar and further afield via Zoom about all the matters local and global. The format is simple: the Talkaoke host sits in the middle of a round table and you\, the participants\, sit at small tables close by. Each table has a mic and you are invited to talk about anything they like. Each discussion is a journey from one unexpected subject to another: it can be topical\, funny\, deep\, surreal\, and everything in between. The conversation will be visualised live by a digital illustrator!
