Come and chat with us about what matters and help us visualise the future neighbourhood! \nCheck out the photo highlights from July and September 2021. \n____ \nBetween July 2021 and March 2022 The People Speak have been talking with the local residents of Southmere Estate about their ideas for events on Cygnet Square\, which were brought to life by Continental Drifts in partnership with Peabody. In a series of Talkaokes and vox pops style interviews we learnt about the history of the area\, characters that live here\, challenges and aspirations for the community. The project is a follow on from 2018’s Talkaoke celebrating Thamesmead’s 50th birthday [link to visualisations here]. \n
